Opihi Weddings Ceremonies

Family Wedding

I specialize in romantic, sunset, beach ceremonies that are simple and meaningful.  Though I am a non-denominational officiant, I do make reference to akua (God) in my ceremony. I perform a Hawai’ian oli (chant) which I will explain during the ceremony. There is a lei exchange in the ceremony (leis provided by me). After the ceremony, we will sign the marriage license, and I will file it with the State of Hawai’i.

I am more than happy to recommend a location for the ceremony, but I always give the option and prefer that the couple find a location that strikes them and one that they feel is “the spot”.  This is your day and there’s not one beach in this paradise that you will not find breathtaking. (Map of Maui). While I prefer to have ceremonies here on the West side, I will travel anywhere on Maui or even the outer islands.

I am very easy going, flexible and can adapt to whatever changes may be necessary. My goal is to make your day special for you and your guests.

I look forward to sharing your special day with you.
